The Adirondacks

Using original landscapes, interviews, rare archival films and excerpts from personal journals and diaries, this documentary traces the exploration, settlement, industrial development, tourism, architecture and geography of the Adirondack region. Mohawk Indian lore, guides, grand hotels and resorts, mining and lumber camps are the components of this broad historical view of the Adirondack Park of New York State.
