Description: Transcription: (screen quietly crackling) 0:00 Narrator It was about five in the morning. 0:01 I was on my way to meet my sister 0:03 and attend her son's wedding. 0:05 I was on route 17, in Vestal New York, 0:07 when my car overheated. 0:09 When I opened the hood the spark plug cables were on fire. 0:12 Ah, luckily it happened just across from a Texaco station. 0:16 (water spraying on metal) 0:19 James Weaver, the night attendant, 0:20 saw my trouble, and he ran over to help. 0:21 Well, my car was a six year old Studebaker Hawk, 0:24 so Mr. Weaver didn't have the cables that would fit, 0:26 but he knew where to find them. 0:31 He lent me his car to get them, and he made the repairs. 0:32 That was a warm day for me in many respects. 0:36 (car hood bangs closed) 0:38 And all because of the unselfish service from this man. 0:39 By 6:30 I was on my way, 0:42 I made it to the reunion and the wedding on time. 0:44 (inspiring happy music) 0:47 Announcer Another Texaco station 0:48 where the retailer has taken a business 0:49 that's good for cars, 0:50 and made it a business, 0:52 good for people. 0:53
