Description: As she starts out to write a story about an eighty-seven-year-old social services center director and ends up writing about a nineteen-year-old boxer. Madeleine discovers that the young boxer and the image of the American Dream he represents are more complicated than she had first realized and in these complications finds the key to the form of her story.
