Illustrates the use of the free reading method coupled with class discussion for stimulating children's interest in reading. In the class discussion a group of boys and girls in their early teens respond to a teacher's questions such as: "Do you read?" "Why do you read?" "How do you feel about your reading?" and "What do you read?" Narrator's comments analyze and interpret the significance of the students' and teacher's statements.
