Description: A dramatic re-enactment of the childhood of Theodore Roosevelt. Sickly and overprotected due to a crippling asthma, he was tutored at home and had few friends. His father put Teedie on an exercise program designed to expand his narrow chest and build up his body. Humiliated by a group of bullies, Teedie takes up boxing and wins a treasured trophy. This early determination was transferred to politics as Theodore Roosevelt made a meteoric rise in American history.
