Description: This 1951 home movie shows Conrad Fath on a fishing trip at Baffin Bay in Kingsville, Texas. The footage shows a fisherman catching an enormous tarpon fish, and it is actually larger than the fisherman himself. The fishermen also catch dozens of trout on the shores of Baffin Bay. Fath owned and operated Fath Boats and Motors in Austin. His wife, Shudde, was a prominent civic activist. She was also a founding member of the City of Austin's Electric Utility Commission, serving from 1977 to 2017. Conrad Fath passed away in 1990.
