Talking with Thoreau

Presents conversations between Henry David Thoreau and four present-day distinguished personages to illustrate the timelessness of Thoreau's ideas. Includes talks with David Brower, president of Friends of the Earth; B.F. Skinner, Harvard professor and author of Walden Two; Rosa Parks, mother of modern civil rights; and Elliot Richardson, former U.S. Attorney General. Concludes with Thoreau urging each person to find a life style of one's own and to pursue it.
