This dramatization by high school students, commemorating the accidental death of a classmate, presents a strong gun control message. Frustrated over his fading romance with Christine, Gary attempts to attract her attention and sympathy by brandishing a gun and threatening suicide. He believes the gun is unloaded, but it is not. Gary's misguided act ends with Christine being the victim when the gun discharges.
