An explanation of the Suzuki method of violin instruction with elements of his philosophy of music education. This method starts the child very young, and relies on simplified, rote-learned pieces. Suzuki claims it is based on the method by which children naturally learn their mother-tongue. Filmed during his tour of this country in 1964.
