Suzie, the little blue coupe
Sign in to track this film in your collection or want list.
The heroine of this animated soap opera is Suzie, a jaunty blue auto, whisked from a showcase window by a man in a brown suit enamored with her sleek styling. The coupe enjoyed life in the fast lane, rubbing fenders with the big wheels of parking lot society, and barely noticing the passage of time. Exhibiting signs of age, fading color and carburetor trouble, Suzie was suddenly abandoned by her owner and consigned to a used car lot. Purchased by a denizen of Skid Row, Suzie's fortunes further declined when she became a stolen vehicle and was wrecked in a collision with a trolley. Facing a certain end in a dreary junkyard, Suzie is delighted to be rescued by a teenaged boy intent on reconditioning her to former glory.
