Description: Following her father's death, Suzanne, a young Black woman, considers the physical and mental abuse he inflicted upon her. Home movie footage is interwoven with interviews of Suzanne and her family who recount the circumstances of their life together. Suzanne reveals her feelings of low self esteem, suicidal impulses and problems with drug abuse, all of which she traces to her troubled childhood.
