Description: Bobba June Strang, a fifteen-year-old girl, dreams of being a great jazz trombonist. Working part-time in a nursing home, she has successfully persuaded some of the patients to form a jazz band. One day her idol, T. P. Jackson, arrives at the home suffering from a stroke. With her encouragement and help, he leads the band to a national debut on the Tonight Show. Stars Scatman Crothers, Amy Wright, and Susan Kingsley.
