This film is designed especially for the farmer considering alternative sources of energy in farm buildings. It shows four working solar units: a greenhouse heated with gravel heat retainers, a solar pond using a brine (salt) solution for heat retention, a solar heated poultry and milking house, and a solar preheating system for a swine shelter. An effort is made to cover the general geographical regions of the United States.
