Description: A social documentary viewing strippers as women workers in a distinctive cultural milieu. The film is composed of interviews with strippers, intercut with footage of the life that surrounds striptease in the bars that are its natural habitat. Footage of the erotic dances confirms the sensual art possible in striptease. The women are sexual symbols in a society ambivalent about sex and they are working women in a substratum of the economy that escaped labor organization and the benefits it can bring.
