Strega Nona

An animated retelling of an old Italian tale about what happens when Strega Nona (Grandmother Witch) leaves her apprentice alone with her magic pasta pot. He is determined to show the townspeople how it works and in so doing, unleashes a torrent of pasta that threatens to engulf the little Italian town. The blend of accordion, jaw harp, and choral singing recreates the atmosphere of an Italian operetta.
