Description: Tells the story of the love between Angelo and Gino, a poor painter who has her pose for a Madonna portrait. Reveals that when she runs afoul of the law and is sent to prison, Gino grows despondent and loses all interest in his work. Shows that when she is released, they are reunited and she convinces him she is still worthy of having posed for a Madonna. Stars Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell. Directed by Frank Borzage.
