Story of a Book (Second Edition)

Demonstrates the process of writing a book, using Marguerite Henry's San Domingo and the Medicine Hat Stallion as the example. Follows the author as she conceives of the idea for the story, does research in the library and on location, writes and rewrites, collaborates with the illustrator, plans the final copy, and sends it off to the printer.
