Stamen

Duration: 3:00

Year Published: 1972

Complete Record: A film by Constance Beeson The film opens with a still image of a young man looking into the camera. There is the sound of a flute or whistle. The still image becomes a double exposure with images of the man walking at a park. The still image fades away, and we see the young man with another man at the park and inside a greenhouse. One man floats flowers over to the other across a shallow pool. We see the men kiss, and the scene is exposed also with flowers. The men climb along rocks, a scene which is exposed over a waterfall. A guitar is also heard now, and the remainder of the film shows the two men making love as a negative image. It is also exposed over with flowers, and hands playing with flower petals.
