Description: A portrait of Manhattan on Saturday, February 19, 1983. The film combines animation with live-action scenes to document the changing configurations of Manhattan's southern tip. The towers of the World Trade Center predominate but the presence of cranes and other construction machinery signify further change for the island's shorefront.
