Description: A band parade planned by the Rangers' Club brings up the subject of sound: what determines total variation among musical instruments? Defines sound in terms of wave vibration and such controlling factors as force and resonance. Expands the physical principle to include air, solid things, and water as sound carriers. Demonstrates how the voice box words and how sound waves entering the ear are transformed into meaningful stimuli by the brain.
