SUMMARY: Every year at Hallwe’en a gang of men from the village of Antrobus in Cheshire perform a traditional play in the pubs and village halls of the neighbourhood. The film shows a performance at the Wheatsheaf, Antrobus on 12th November 1974, and tries to demonstrate what lies behind it
