Snowy waters

A brief description of the large-scale hydroelectric schemes being undertaken by the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric Authority. When completed the scheme will change the geography of an area as large as Switzerland by completely altering the course of streams and rivers. The film shows some of the work undertaken by the scheme including the construction of dams, building of roads and extensive excavations.
