Using the directed light from a laser, this film shows how light is organized by the lens of the eye or of a camera. Beginning with light refraction as the light passes from air through water, the film illustrates the bending of light as it passes through media such as a rectangular piece of glass, a prism and a pair of prisms to build an understanding of how a lens works to organize light.
