Description: Follows the progress of an advanced high school German class in Minneapolis as they read and discuss the dialogue to the Gustav Grundgens film-play of Goethe's 'FAUST' prior to watching the film. Uses slides and tape recordings of the film's sound track and textbooks. Shows how additional study is accomplished during free time in a modular school schedule or at home using specially prepared question-answer tapes. Employs a sound track in German and includes an English narration and an English discussion among the students after they have seen the film.
