In a skit presented at an abortion rally in New York City on March 28, 1969, a beauty contestant is pressured to fulfill certain roles in order to be the "ideal woman", a "winner". The skit shows how women, especially minority women, are used in this society for profit. The women who perform also discuss their personal lives and how their struggle as women is expressed in the skit.
