Sergeant Matlovich vs. The U.S. Airforce (2 reels) Jenni Olson

Brad Dourif challenges the military's ban on gays. Well-meaning if a bit dull, Sergeant Matlovich is a time capsule that walks a typically 1970s fine line, trying to "educate" the masses about gays without alienating them. Rue McClanahan does a nice turn as Matlovich's mother and Marc Singer plays his loyal straight friend.
