Shows the work of the Nebraska state legislature in setting forth a law to maintain and insure superior seed varieties through a system of certification. Illustrates the work of the Nebraska Crop Improvement Association in all phases of operation--the increase of breeders' seed to foundation seed, the release of procedure, inspections by association representatives, harvesting, laboratory tests, taking a representative sample, and finally, certification and sale of seed.
