Screwcutting

Episode of Series “Lathework series”. The film starts with a short general discussion of screw threads, pitch and shape. The principle of the screw-cutting lathe is illuatrated by mounting a wooden cylinder in the lathe and using a lead pencil instead of a cutting tool.
