Episode of Series “This is the United Nations” The people of Afghanistan have followed a way of life that has changed very little in the past thousand years. In 1950 the Afghanistan Government, which has been making efforts to develop and improve the country, called upon the U.N. to help by providing technical assistance. This film describes how new knowledge and techniques have been introduce into industry and agriculture, resulting in increasing output and development of resources.
