Complete Record: This film is designed for children from 9 through 12-- ages at which students have heard about. but hopefully not yet experimented with alcohol or drugs. The film presents ways to say “no” to peers under friendly pressure, I dare you pressure, indirect pressure and heavy pressure when one is offered dangerous substances. Further, the film seeks to build self-esteem, assertiveness, and establishes awareness of positive alternatives to drug use among its viewers. The film explores reasons why young people get involved with alcohol and drugs and their effect on health and performance. The film is hosted by Valerie Brisco-Hooks, winner of three gold metals at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.
