Gerry Lynas creates a massive sculpture out of wet sand while fascinated onlookers ask questions and comment on his work. As Lynas reveals his philosophy regarding the impermanence of so much that is of value in the world, the tides breaking on this Fire Island beach slowly reduce his artistic creation to its original form.
