Sally Of The Sawdust

Introduces Eustace McGargle, a carnival barker who has adopted Sally and enjoys an occasional nip or two, yet is on record as being none too fond of children or dogs. Stars W C Fields. Directed by D W Griffith.

Judge Foster casts out his only daughter because she married a circus performer. She leaves her little girl Sally in the care of her friend McGargle (W.C. Fields), a crook, juggler and fakir. Sally grows up in this atmosphere and is unaware of her parentage. She is a hit with her dancing.
