Investigates the effects of weight placement, wind and sail adjustment to gain smooth and efficient sailing. Shows that the sail must be let in and out and the tension changed for different kinds of wind. Demonstrates the rules of navigation using sailboat models to show which boat would have the right of way under certain conditions. Compares these demonstrations with live scenes of the same maneuvers using real sailboats.
