Description: Framed around a criminal investigation of reported cattle rustling at the Fort Hood Military Reservation, this film, produced by the Texas Department of Public Safety, provides a detailed look at methods of crime detection and prevention used by modern day (c. 1948) Texas Rangers to thwart livestock thieves. Most of the footage features Rangers on horseback, roping cattle and collecting evidence on the range.Note that some parts of the soundtrack appear to be for a different film, and most of the film is silent.
