Description: Follows the artist, Christo, through the concept, building, and showing of his 24 mile fence of white fabric over the hills of California and into the Pacific. The project took nearly four years to complete. Once finished and after a period of timee, the fence was taken down and the materials were given to the people whose land the fence was built on.

Complete Record: , Documents the three-year construction of Christo Javacheff's 24 1/2 mile long nylon art work in Sonoma and Marin Counties, California. Interspersed with scenes of construction is footage from the numerous public hearings with comments by the artist, co-workers and opponents of the construction project. , NOTE: Two (or more) records have been merged together to create this data.
