Complete Record: Cowpokes on horseback ride a dusty trail. Roy catches up to them and they start talking about the rodeo coming to town. Cut to George “Gabby” Hayes slapping notices on cars about the impending rodeo. Cut to inside of Western style casino where a young rodeo maven (Dale Evans) has arrived and is being swarmed by publicists and photographers. Old Gabby tries to plan her day’s events. She refuses him. Miss Evans and her dashing escort enter the casino. Roy is playing guitar and singing before a rodeo committee luncheon in the lounge. Gabby drags Evans away from a date with her Casanova to speak in front of the committee. Roy surprises her by swearing her in as deputy sheriff and queen of the rodeo. She is immediately swarmed by admirers. Her escort then leads her away into the casino. They gamble. Cut to Roy in the office talking to the Casino boss about Miss Evans’ boyfriends’ shady money dealings. Roy is commissioned to investigate the man’s room. He’s there to discover where Dale’s boyfriend is getting his money from. He is discovered in the room by a racketeering associate of the criminal boyfriend. A cowboy chase in the hotel/casino ensues, culminating in Roy mounting a horse and riding off into the hills with the bad guy and Miss Randall on his trail. Miss Randall falls off her horse, Roy comes to her aid and tells her he was chasing the racketeer not stealing her horse. Day of the big Rodeo. Roy emcees. Miss Evans and Roy pal around at the rodeo.
