Rough Turning Between Centers

Shows the procedures followed in setting up an engine lathe for a rough turning job between centers, on a piece already cut to length and centered. Safety precautions in dress and work, the necessity of constant reference to the blueprint, lubrication of the machine, the care of centers, and the proper use of the various controls on the lathe are discussed.
