Roosevelt, New Jersey: visions of Utopia

During the Great Depression, 120 families of Jewish garment workers from New York City moved to the countryside of Central New Jersey to participate in a government-sponsored agro-industrial cooperative community. This documentary film explores the history of that experiment through the memories of the original cooperators and their children.
