Pictures electrical generating plants, water treatment plants, barges, locks, and dams to show how man uses the river for power, drinking water, transportation, and recreation. Uses models, animation, and live-action photography in discussing the sources of water in rivers, the function of rivers, and the behavior of flowing water.
