Description: Shows the path of a river from its source to its mouth to present the varied environment through which a river flows. Pictures electrical generating plants, water treatment plants, barges, locks, and dams to show how man uses the river for power, drinking water, transportation, and recreation. Uses models, animation, and live-action photography in discussing the sources of water in rivers, the function of rivers, and the behavior of flowing water.
