Return Of The Sea Elephant With Jacques Cousteau

. On Guadalupe Island, off the west coast of Mexico, there is a colony of unique aquatic mammals--the grotesque-nosed sea elephants--and Cousteau and the crew of the Calypso have an opportunity to examine the lives and behavior of these nomadic creatures. They gather information as to the size of the herd, whether new colonies are forming, and where they go in their seven months at sea. Mother sea elephants are photographed caring for their young, the bulls are shown bellowing amid the seductive calls of females, and the entire saga of this once nearly extinct mammal is vividly captured on film. Narrated by Rod Serling.
