A Danish language film. Presents an experimental film based on the expressive prints of the young Danish painter, Soren Hansen. Portrays the cruel, tragic story of Jeftha, who, returning home victorious from war, must sacrifice his daughter to fulfill a promise to the Lord, which is taken from the book of Judges, chapter 11.
