Shows that the advancement of a bladder flap by the technique illustrated provides tissue with excellent blood supply, normal urothelium and obviates a suture line in the area of repair. Points out that this technique also lends itself to the reconstruction of the urethra and to repair of urethral and vesical-rectal fistulae.
