Complete Record: Illustrates that evaporation is a cooling process. Describes the evaporation, condensation and heat absorption processes in a refrigerator and applies the same principles to air conditioning systems and connection currents. This film uses animation and a model of a refrigerator with plastic coils to show how, through a continuous cycle of evaporation of a refrigerant, heat is absorbed from inside the insulated box and released outside. Shows two boys returning home after a hot day. The refrigerator and air conditioning in their home are shown. A woman shown ironing. Someone shown rubbing alcohol on their skin and it evaporates. Demonstrations of a liquid evaporating. Deconstructed air conditioning shown to demonstrate how they work.
