Description: Observes infant rearing in an Israeli kibbutz organized around the activities of Hannah, seen both as a young mother and as a metapelet (care-giver) for four infants. Follows her weekday work as she cares for four under-a-year-old infants in their baby house from early morning to mid-afternoon and as she takes scheduled breaks to visit her own children in their nearby children's houses. Depicts Hannah's adroit blending of household tasks with tender, expert infant care and upbringing.
