Description: Mary is multiple handicapped: deaf with limited speech capabilities and cerebral palsy. She is also a person of courage and determination. As Mary enters a regular classroom for the first time, the viewer witnesses the reactions of the non-handicapped children. A look at the difficulties and rewards of mainstreaming through the eyes of a child who has experienced both.
