This 1950s home movie captures a Purim Ball at the Jewish Community Center of Dallas in either 1955 or 1956. The master of ceremonies crowns women attendees, who then parade around the room on the arms of their escorts. Purim is a Jewish holiday that commemorates the deliverance of the Jewish people from Haman, as told in the Book of Esther.
