When Terry needed a friend who thought in the same intellectual way he did, he invented Nobody - a duck with a sauce-pan hat and a wild imagination. When Terry's parents urged him to let Nobody go, he felt lost without his friend. Puff, the Magic Dragon took Terry on a fantastic odyssey through the Fantaverse, and he realized that the children at school didn't understand how special he was. He found Nobody and learned something about Somebody.
