right [Music] now [Music] foreign where Jesus was born and where David one thousand years earlier spent his Boyhood thank you sheep and their Shepherds more than anything else inspired the boy David who watched his father's flock in Judea just as Shepherds do there to this day their care and loving kindness is the central theme of many Immortal Psalms which he wrote in later life when he was King of Judea the shepherd King [Music] then as today there was Solace for loneliness in the flute-like music of the shepherd Samira from which the word sound is derived [Music] land of still waters clean pastures and shadowy valleys supposed Locale of the 23rd psalm which more than any other has comforted humanity and always will [Music] consolation for the weary on life's journey [Music] the psalm of Psalms [Music] the Lord is my shepherd I shall not want Fearless trusting in the goodness of the master [Music] [Music] thank you he maketh me to lie down in Green Pastures [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] foreign ers [Music] [Music] he restoreth my soul [Music] [Applause] [Music] sheep that have fallen from the perilous path or strayed from the flock and lost their wave must be found [Music] he leadeth me in Paths of righteousness for his name's sake [Music] [Music] thank you yea either I walk through the valley of the shadow of death [Music] [Music] I will fear no evil for thou art with me [Music] has in the parable of the Good Shepherd comforting the weary thy rod and thy staff they comfort me [Music] [Music] the rod tests the dangerous path the staff keeps away wild animals thou prepare us to table before me in the presence of mine enemies [Music] foreign [Music] olive oil to soothe wounds from stones and sharp thorns and burns from the Summer sun cup runneth over [Music] surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life thank you [Music] and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever wood from the Green Pastures Still Waters and shadowy valleys fearing no evil for thou art with me [Music] thank you
