Description: Depicts the conflicting monetary and ecological interests involved in the construction of 800 miles of hot oil pipeline through Alaska's Arctic tundra. Considers wildlife and environmental damage which could result from the road construction, dynamiting, and above ground location of the pipeline. Describes the imbalance of nature that will result if the line is constructed by depicting animals which either have not learned to fear man and his destructive capabilities, or those which will be restricted in their annual migration for food by the six to seven foot high pipeline.
