Properties Of Cardiac Muscle, Pt 3 - Cardiac Muscle Contrasted With Skeletal Muscle

Uses the ventricle muscle from a turtle heart and the gastronemius muscle of the frog to compare the latent periods and the contraction and relaxation periods of cardiac and skeletal muscles under various rates of stimulation. Suggests physiological advantages for each type of muscle response.
